Carolee Carmello was born September 1, 1962 in Albany, New York. She made her Broadway debut 1989 in City of Angels, where she played an ensemble role as well as a couple small roles. Since then, she's been on Broadway in Falsettos, 1776, Urinetown, Mamma Mia!, The Addams Family, Finding Neverland, and more as well as Off-Broadway in I Can Get it to You Wholesale, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, and more, the touring productions of Les Miserables, Chess, Hello, Dolly!, and more, and many regional productions. For the purposes of this wiki, she is known for playing Lisa Carew in the 1994 Concept Album of Jekyll and Hyde.

She has also played Marguerite in The Scarlet Pimpernel, another Frank Wildhorn musical. She first played the role in Pre-Broadway workshops in 1997 and then in the 1999 mini-tour. Then, she played the role on Broadway in SP 3.0 from Fall 1999 to January 2000
