Jekyll & Hyde[]

Wilkinson portrayed Dr. Jekyll in the 1990 Concept Album of Jekyll & Hyde, being the first actor to play the character in a publicly released album. The album was a highlights album, and only featured himself and Linda Eder as both female leads: Lisa Carew and Lucy Harris. All songs featuring the ensemble and other leads were cut. Likewise, all songs featuring Mr. Hyde were not included, and Wilkinson only briefly plays the role at the end of Transformation. Despite never playing the role on stage, Wilkinson was on contract with RCA at the time and was brought in so the album would have recognizable leads.
