Jack Wagner took over the lead role in the Broadway production in January of 2000, replacing Rob Evan. He joined the show the same time as Andrea Rivette and Coleen Sexton.
Wagner was already a well known television actor from the programs Melrose Place and General Hospital, and had a hit song with 1984's All I Need.
